GET PAID TO HAVE A BABY!

Hospital Plans with Major Health Insurance Companies Pay You

That's right, "Get paid to have a baby!" This is essentially what you can do when you buy one of the several “Hospital Cash Plans” that have recently hit the market place. Here's how it works:

A couple plans to have a child within the next year, so they take out a Hospital Cash Plan for the mother to be. The maximum benefit pays $2,000 for the hospitalization admission plus an additional $200 per day of hospital confinement. This plan costs about $60 per month, and there is a 10 month waiting period for maternity. Three months after taking out the Hospital Cash Plan, the couple finds that they are pregnant and in month 12, they deliver. This means they have paid $60 per month over 12 months or $720. The Hospital Cash Plan pays $2,000 plus $200 per day. If it is a natural birth, this is probably 2 days or an additional $400. If it is a c-section it is likely to be 3 days in the hospital or $600. Under this scenario, this couple's net return from the plan is either $1,680 or $1,880! Clearly, this can pay for a good portion of the annual deductible, or at least decorate the baby's room! With this type of plan, it's up to you to decide what to do with the money.

Maternity Scenario

  Natural Birth C-Section
Plan Pays $2,000 plus $200/day for $2,400 $2,600
You Paid $60/month for 12 months for ($720) ($720)
Your Net Return!

$1,680

$1,880

Remember, even if a woman who takes out this plan does not get pregnant for two years the plan still nets a nice profit. It is important to consider that this plan also pays the covered person for virtually any unforeseen hospitalization. If you are interested in a Hospital Cash Plan like this or you know someone who would likely benefit, tell them about it or let us know. They'll probably be happy you did.
